The Sound Space
Life can feel noisy and overwhelming, and sometimes we just need a space to pause and breathe.
At The Sound Space, I guide soothing sessions with the gentle vibrations of crystal sound bowls and simple breathwork practices. The sound is like a meditation, calming your nervous system, easing stress, and helping you find deep stillness.
My love of yoga and my learnings from yoga teacher trainings is at the heart of everything I do. Even though my main offering is creating relaxing sound experiences, yoga’s essence, runs through each session, creating space for you to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
Whether you join in person or online (coming soon) , the intention is simple and always the same, come as you are, soften the stress, and leave feeling lighter and more balanced.

What is a SoundBath?
Do I need any experience in yoga or meditation?
What if I fall asleep during the sessions?
What is a Soundbath?
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you simply lie down or sit comfortably and let the sound of crystal bowls, koshi bells, and other instruments wash over you. The sound works like a meditation, calming your mind and soothing your nervous system. You don’t have to “do” anything just rest and receive.
Do I need experience in yoga or meditation?
Not at all. Sessions are designed for everyone, whether you’ve practiced yoga or meditation before or this is your very first time. You just come as you are, and I’ll guide you gently through the session.
What if I fall asleep during a session?
That’s completely okay and it happens often. The bowls are very calming, and if your body needs rest, falling asleep is natural. Even if you drift off, your body and mind are still receiving the lovely benefits of the sound.
What should I bring to a Soundbath?
Can I join if I am pregnant?
Is there anyone who shouldn't attend a Soundbath?
What should I bring to a Soundbath?
Yoga mats are provided. Also it is highly recommended that you bring anything that helps you feel cosy and comfortable, a warm blanket, pillow and something to cover your eyes such as a eye mask, or even a sock.
Some people also like to bring water or a journal for afterwards. If you’re joining online, set up a quiet space at home where you won’t be disturbed.
Can I join if I am pregnant?
Sound baths are not suitable during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
After the first 3months it is still advised to check with your midwife/GP before attending a sound bath.
Let me know before the session so I can make sure you’re comfortable and supported.
Is there anyone who shouldn't attend a Soundbath?
Sound baths are safe for most people, but they may not be suitable if you have epilepsy, certain heart conditions, or serious mental health concerns.
Also they are not suitable if you have any metal implants or a pacemaker as the vibrations can interfere with the device.
It is always advised to speak to your GP/Healthcare provider if you have any concerns about attending a sound bath with a pre-existing condition.
Please read waiver and consent information on the website.

What happens during aa session?
Do I need to do yoga poses in the session?
How long does the session last?
How will I feel afterwards?
What happens during a session?
We usually start with gentle breathwork or relaxation to help you arrive and settle in. Then I’ll play the sound bowls and koshi bells while you lie down or sit comfortably. You simply listen and let the sound carry you into stillness.
Do I need to do yoga poses in a session?
No, my sound bath sessions are mainly about sound and breathwork. My love of yoga is always woven through, but it’s more about creating balance and calm rather than physical poses. Please note You will be laying on the floor (or can sit on a chair) for the sound bowl session. In Yoga this position is called Savasana, this will be the only pose you will be using.
How long does the session last?
Most sessions last around 60 minutes, enough time to fully relax without feeling rushed.
How will I feel afterwards?
Everyone’s experience is unique, but most people leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more relaxed. Some feel energised, others deeply rested. It’s best to give yourself some quiet time afterwards if you can.
